Chassis extension adapters for motorhomes

Do you need adapters and a full extension is unnecessary? If you want to fit your motorhome with a towing system, in some cases the frame extension and reinforcement are generally not necessary. Frame adapters are the ideal solution.

Frame adapters are specially designed for Fiat Ducato / Citroën Jumper / Peugeot Boxer since 2006 with short overhangs. Usually they work as a connection between original chassis and frame extension.

To fit an chassis extension adapter without having to fit the extensio profiles, you need a maximum length of 24 cm from the end of the original frame to the bumper. The design means that existing fixing points can be used to fit a trailer hitch. Our frame extension connection are supplied in kit with all the necessary screws for the left and right sides.

Frame extension adapters are available in black and galvanised versions:

• Powder-coated Black: this process is used to protect metal surfaces against external damage, including corrosion.
• Galvanised: this is a hot-dip galvanising process. This process provides a protective coating for adhesion, impermeability, mechanical strength and corrosion resistance.

The chassis extension connectors are universal and compatible with various universal coupling systems, such as SMV Metall, Linnepe, AL-KO, SAWIKO and XIMPLIO. They are the perfect solution for all motorhomes mounted on :

• Fiat Ducato X250, X290-X295 since 2006
• Citroën Jumper X250, X290-X295 since 2006
• Peugeot Boxer X250, X290-X295 since 2006
