Universal trailer hitch, adjustable in height and width for motorhomes

LEMET towbars are suitable for all motorhomes and commercial vehicles. Thanks to its compact design, it's light and the specially selected materials ensure its strength. It can support up to 160 kg vertically and trailers up to 2.6 tonnes.

LEMET towbars are made up of a number of components that fit together to give the towbar almost any shape. The main fitting, side profiles and arms can be rotated about any axis to position the device as required.

The towball bracket can also be mounted in four different positions, allowing the towball to be adjusted in height and along the longitudinal axis of the vehicle.

The towball can be mounted above or below the main fitting to suit different types of vehicle and chassis.

Fixed or removable - no problem thanks to the modular construction.

The LEMET TB GTR towbar has the same base for all towbar types. The towbar can be fitted with a fixed or detachable hitchball.

The fixed version is available in two versions:

• With a swanneck towball,
• With a flange towball bolted to the front.

For the detachable version, the manufacturer uses towbars from Dutch manufacturer ACS Towbar Systems BV. ACS Towbar Systems BV is part of the Brink Group and supplies most towbar manufacturers in Europe.

The detachable mechanism is extremely robust, easy to use and comes with a number of extras, including an anti-theft system. The LEMET detachable trailer hitch is horizontally removable and can be mounted in various positions on the crossbar, making the crossbar completely invisible.

Suitable for motorhomes with or without chassis extension

The adjustable towbar is universal and can be fitted to a wide range of vehicles. LEMET's designers focused primarily on coachbuilt and A-class motorhomes with a load-bearing chassis extension.

However, the mounting hole pattern on the side plates is very universal. The width-adjustable towbar fits chassis and chassis extensions from other manufacturers such as ALKO, SMV-Metall, Sawiko, Umbra or XIMPLIO.

ALKO lightweight chassis are also prepared for mounting a towbar. Thanks to the typical ALKO 145 mm holes, the towbar can be used on any motorhome, whether from the Rapido Group, LAIKA CARAVANS, TRIGANO, the Pössl Group, Hymer, Pilote or Knaus Tabbert AG.

Towing load of up to 2600 kg for heavy trailers

The LEMET towbar is designed for motorhomes in a range of weight classes. Thanks to its compact design, the towbar is lightweight and can be fitted to lighter motorhomes as well as heavier vehicles.

With a D-value of 14.6 kN, the towbar can pull a trailer weighing almost 2.6 tonnes with a vehicle weight of 3,500 kg. This makes it ideal for vehicles such as the Fiat Ducato, Citroën Jumper, Peugeot Boxer, Opel Movano, Renault Master, Iveco Daily and Mercedes Sprinter.

160 kg vertical load for luggage carrier

The towball is not only suitable for heavy trailers, but also for luggage racks. With a load-bearing capacity of 160 kg, the hitchball can be used to mount bicycle racks for electric bicycles and motorcycle racks for light motorcycles.

The side supports can be fitted with special brackets for rear bike carriers from other manufacturers: Bike Max 'exclusive' and Lift, ALU-Platform, Alu-Star series, Rad Max series from SMV, Scout and SlidePort from Linnepe, Slide-Move from Weih-Tec and many others.

Corrosion protection and colouring

Quality is a priority for the Polish manufacturer. The towball is available in two different colours. The classic version is hot-dip galvanised, giving it a silver hue. The second option is an elegant black. The black version also has a primer coating to ensure a long product life.

In both versions, the hitchball is black and has a cathodic dip coating for extra protection.
