Universal towbars

Highly adjustable towbar

In this category, you will find universal towbars that are adjustable in three directions (length, height, and width). The basic construction of the adjustable towbar is the same and consists of an adjustable crossbar, side arms, and a ball head holder. The holder for the ball head determines the design of the variable device. Here you will find adjustable towbars that are either fixed or detachable.

Detachable towbars are equipped with a mechanism from a well-known manufacturer from the Brink group. The detachable coupling ball has a type approval (ABE) from the Dutch testing institute - TÜV Nederland (TÜV Nord Group), is lockable and particularly robust.

Fixed towbar devices are available in three different designs, namely:

  • With a swan neck tow ball that is screwed on laterally.
  • With a flange ball head that is screwed on frontally with two M16 screws, as well as
  • With a four-hole mounting plate. The four-hole mounting plate is also a flange ball head that is screwed on frontally with four M12 screws in the hole pattern 83 x 56 mm.

The four-hole flange ball head can also be equipped with a plate change system from Westfalia to convert the towbar into a detachable one.

Height-adjustable grid plates

As an additional feature, the towbars can be equipped with side grid plates to adjust the entire device in height.
