Chassis extension profiles for mounting a towbar, bicycle carrier or motorbike rack

Do you have a motorhome with a short overhang and want to fit a towbar? In such cases, it's not always possible to use all the accessories of a traditional frame extension, such as frame adapters or reinforcement elements.

This is particularly the case for vehicles fitted with an ALKO lightweight chassis. Most of these vehicles are already lowered at the factory and have special fixing points for the frame extension bars. This means there's no need to use other components such as adapters - the extension profiles are all you need to fit a towbar. They are compatible with all motorhomes!

Our frame extension rails are available in different lengths:

• 38 cm
• 75 cm
• 120 cm
• 140 cm
• 150 cm
• 160 cm

They are also available in different variants to meet your individual requirements:

• Powder-coated Black: this is a treatment process designed to protect metal surfaces against external aggression, including corrosion.
• Galvanised: this is a hot-dip galvanising process. This gives the metal an adherent and anti-corrosion coating.

To fit chassis extension profiles correctly, you need to measure the length from the fixing points to the end of the bumper. If they are too long, you can cut them to size!

For frame extension profiles over 1200 mm, V-shaped reinforcements must still be used to secure the hitch.
