The cable mounting plate for 2-hole towbar is versatile and fits on European towbars with 2-hole (2x M16 screws 90 mm apart).

The trailer breakaway cable is the wiring that engages the emergency brake in the event of the trailer falling off the ball hitch. This discreet tool can even save lives.

The breakaway cable is fixed to a special bracket on the hitch, but on most vans the fixing hole is too far away from the towball. As a result, the emergency brake engages when the trailer is turned, or the possibility of fitting a breakaway cable is ruled out altogether.

The towbar breakaway cable fixing plate is specially designed for use with 2 x M16 bolts at 90 mm and is available in three versions:

• Short plate bracket on the side of the ball (can be mounted on the left or right),
• Long plate bracket on the side of the ball (can be mounted on the left or right),
• Central plate bracket, fixed in the middle of the plate.
