Air suspension for Fiat Ducato type 250 from 2006- with payload increasing

The air suspension with load increase (incl. parts certificate) was specially developed for the vehicles of the Stellantis Group - Fiat Ducato, Peugeot Boxer and Citroën Jumper from 2006-2014 and from 2014 onwards. Equipped with 8-inch air bellows (Z8) for the rear axle, this auxiliary air bag suspension is ideal for vehicles with original Fiat frames (not for ALKO frames).

Loading & possible applications of load exceeding pneumatic system

This complete air suspension kit enables a load increase of up to 4,700 kg, which is particularly advantageous for heavy and long motorhomes and commercial vehicles (like panel vans, delivery vans and chassis cab trucks). The TÜV-Süd-approved system offers various load levels depending on the vehicle model:

• Up to 4,090 kg - by installing the air suspension
• Up to 4,200 kg - with reinforced front axle coil springs (Light & Heavy/Maxi version)
• Up to 4,700 kg - with reinforced front axle coil springs and rims (Heavy/Maxi version only)

NOTICE: It is not possible in all countries to increase the load capacity of a vehicle without changing its legal status. Before fitting air suspension to increase the load capacity of your motorhome, panel van or chassis cab, check the regulations in force.

Customised configuration for your needs

The air suspension can be configured using two main components:

1. Control panel:

• Hard-button control panel: manual buttons, optionally equipped with separate switches for the air suspension pump and drain valves.
• Soft-touch control panel: Integrates two pressure gauges and a combination switch that combines the drain valve and air compressor functions.

2. Air suspension compressor:

• For the hard-button control panel, there is the option of configuring the pneumatic system with or without an air compressor, additionally selectable in standard or heavy-duty version.
• The soft-touch control panel is supplied with an air pump as standard for convenient control of the air supply and delivery.

Features and technical data of air spring system

The kit is a complete retrofit with a 2-circuit air system and a control panel that can be selected according to your requirements. The air bellows with a diameter of 170 mm (Z8) are designed for a maximum cargo load of 4700 kg and are therefore approved for vehicles with a total weight of up to 4700 kg.

Depending on the selected configuration, the scope of delivery also includes:

• Filling valve for the hard button control unit
• Compressor in standard or heavy-duty version

The air springs are fitted between the frame and rear axle on vehicles with leaf springs to support the function of the existing leaf springs. The pneumatic suspension installation kit is compatible with the chassis of the Fiat Ducato and identical models such as the Peugeot Boxer and Citroen Jumper. The TÜV parts certificate is included.
