Air suspension system for Fiat Ducato type 250, 290, 295 from 2006- with 170 mm air bellows

This air suspension is a specially developed additional solution for the Fiat Ducato 250 series models (Ducato third generation) from 2006 onwards (type ZFA250) and other vehicles in the Stellantis group. With the introduction of the facelift models in 2014, an optional electric parking brake was also introduced for the Fiat Ducato 3 vehicles. The electric parking brake control is located to the left of the steering wheel in a storage compartment, which can also be used for the air suspension controls if required. Our air springs are fully compatible with both manual and electric parking brakes, as the control unit is mounted to the right of the steering wheel.

Technical features of the air bag suspension

The system uses 170 mm double air bellows (Z8), which are installed on the Ducato’s rear axle. The air suspension kit is designed for vehicles with the original Fiat frame (Stellantis), but not for vehicles with an ALKO frame. The system works as a 2-circuit system, which means that the air springs can be controlled separately on both sides (left and right). This enables precise adjustment of the air suspension to the vehicle's load and improves both comfort and driving stability.

Flexibly configurable

The retrofit can be easily customised to the individual requirements of your vehicle. There are two main configuration options to choose from:

• controls:
  • Hard-button control unit: with manual buttons, optionally supplemented by switches for the compressor and drain valves.
  • Soft-touch control unit: Equipped with two pressure gauges and switches that combine drain valve and compressor functions.
• air compressor (air suspension pump):
  • With the hard-button panel, the air bag system can be installed either with or without a compressor.
  • The soft-touch system is supplied as standard with an integrated compressor for convenient air suspension adjustment.
